SWBTEC supplies excavator slewing bearings for aftermarket replacement and drawing-based orders. Match the bearing to your machine by checking the ring dimensions, mounting holes and gear interface before ordering.

Send the excavator model, old bearing markings or a drawing. Ningguo Swbtec Industry Co., Ltd. can review the fit details and quote the required configuration.

Where the excavator slew ring fits

The slew ring joins the excavator upper structure to its undercarriage and lets the house rotate. Its inner and outer rings carry the working loads through rolling elements. On geared designs, the ring teeth mesh with the swing-drive pinion.

A replacement must match both sides of that connection. The bearing envelope, mounting pattern and, where present, gear location and tooth geometry determine whether the ring bolts in and meshes correctly with the existing drive.

Identify the right replacement before ordering

Start with the excavator make, model and serial number, then check any part number stamped on the old ring. Model names alone may cover more than one bearing version, so measurements or an original drawing make the match more precise.

  1. Record the old ring’s outside and inside diameters and overall height.
  2. Measure the inner and outer bolt-hole count, hole size and pitch-circle diameters.
  3. Confirm whether the ring uses internal, external or no gear; for a geared ring, provide tooth count, module and the mating pinion details.
  4. Share photos of both faces, the part marking and any unusual wear, plus the operating duty if the replacement design needs review.

SWBTEC’s published excavator table lists examples across Hitachi, Komatsu, Caterpillar, Hyundai and Volvo machines. Use the table to start an inquiry, then confirm the final drawing against the machine and removed bearing.

Dimensions that control the fit

A useful bearing drawing connects each dimension to a mating part on the excavator. Check these interfaces together rather than choosing a ring from overall diameter alone.

CheckWhy it matters
Outside and inside diameters; heightDefine the space available between the upper frame and undercarriage.
Bolt-hole count, size and pitch circlesDetermine whether the ring aligns with both mounting structures.
Gear position, tooth count and moduleDetermine mesh with the existing swing-drive pinion.
Clearance and runout requirementsAffect rotation and the assembled machine’s behavior under load.

SWBTEC’s product records include dimensions, mounting-hole data and gear data where applicable. An order drawing should state the agreed values and inspection requirements for the exact bearing.

How SWBTEC manufactures and checks the ring

SWBTEC’s documented process starts with incoming forging inspection, rough machining and ultrasonic testing. The raceway is machined, induction hardened and tempered; gear cutting, hole machining, finishing and assembly follow according to the bearing design.

Inspection covers the dimensions that affect fit and rotation. The company’s records describe checks of raceway hardness and hardening depth, mounting holes, axial and radial clearance, ring runout and smooth rotation. Gear measurements apply when the selected ring has teeth.

Ask for the drawing and inspection requirements with the quotation so that the specified dimensions and acceptance checks correspond to your machine.

Installation and lubrication conditions

Prepare clean, flat mounting surfaces and place the marked soft zone in the light-load area specified by the installation drawing. Use correctly rated bolts and tighten them evenly to the required preload. Uneven support or bolt loading can shorten bearing life even when the replacement dimensions match.

SWBTEC’s product guidance calls for adding grease before installation because only a small amount of EP2-based grease is present at delivery. Under general operating conditions, it recommends replenishment every 50–60 working hours while rotating the bearing to distribute grease. Keep water and debris out of the raceway, and inspect the seals during service.

If rotation develops abnormal noise, impact or a sudden rise in drive force, stop the machine and check lubrication, gear backlash, mounting flatness and bolt preload before continued operation.
